Ever found an entire notepad in your load of washing - after the washing's been done?
If you're thinking it would be substantially more annoying than a single tissue - you'd be spot on.

Having washed just about anything imaginable Dave I laugh not at you but with you. You know the worse thing I washed was cigar butts, yes stinky cigar butts. When out I used to put dead butts in my pocket (rather than on the ground) of course dead butts would end up throughout the meant to be clean washing in hundreds of stinky pieces. Not too bad when one washes ones own cloths, but when your girlfriend washes for you and washes their cloths in the same load... hhmmm lets just say it hits the fan

Was that the notepad your notes for that Wakley Award winning story were written in? Even if it wasn't I'm pretty sure that's the way the story should go.
And update your blogroll. I don't know what's more disturbing, the fact that I'm listed at my old blog or that it's been updated more recently than half the blogs there.
